What foods are off limits during pregnancy?
There are certain things you really need to avoid when you’re pregnant, some because the can harm your unborn child, and others because they are high risk for food poisoning. So put down that stilton sandwich and cast your eye over what’s off limits in the kitchen.

Don’t eat.

Stilton, brie, camembert, and any other veined cheeses.
Pâté – both meat and veggie pate
Pre-prepared salads – eg. Coleslaw

Re-heated food
Raw meat/undercooked meat – no more rare steaks, all meat needs cooking through
Unpasteurised milk and unpasteurised dairy products
Raw eggs/raw egg products – you can eat eggs if they are cooked until the white and yolk are solid
Unwashed raw fruit and veg
